Motorhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister will soon be making a rockin’ come back.
After canceling the remaining of their summer festival shows earlier this month due to Kilmister’s recent battle with hematoma, guitarist Phil Campbell took to social media to share the singer’s good news.
Today, on the Motorhead Facebook page, Campbell wrote “Lemmy is on the mend and we are gonna be touring our a**es off!!!”
The guitarist also teased the band’s upcoming album Afterschock, set to release in September, by telling fans to “prepare yourselves big time”.
An exact date hasn’t been set for Kilmister’s comeback, but fans can likely expect it to be sometime in the fall, which was reported on the band’s official website earlier this month. However, Campbell’s positive post could be hinting at an earlier date.
In the meantime, we continue to wish Lemmy a healthy recovery!
