Black Sabbath Announces Bonus Tracks for Upcoming Album
By: AnnMarie Scaramuzzino

If a new album and world tour still isn’t enough Black Sabbath for you, then worry not!

The band recently announced that they’re upcoming release, 13, will also be offered as a deluxe edition. The expanded LP will include three bonus tracks: “Methademic,” “Peace of Mind” and “Pariah.”

Sabbath released their first single from the album, “God is Dead?” last week, and frontman Ozzy Osbourne sat down for an interview with Zane Lowe’s BBC show to talk about the band’s latest music.

During their chat, Ozzy hinted that the heavy-metal icons may have even more new material on the way. The frontman told Lowe, “It flowed out of us. We actually wrote and recorded 16 songs and we had eight songs left over as a bonus thing, you know. It was like doing a double album. The songs really stand up, you know.”

13, which was produced by Rick Rubin, is due out on June 11 with pre-orders already available on iTunes.

Black Sabbath kicked off their 2013 tour dates at Auckland, New Zealand’s Vector Arena on Sunday (April 21) and have a second show slated for the same venue tonight (April 22). The band will then play a series of dates in Australia and Japan before beginning their North American tour dates in August.
