* Iggy Pop and the Stooges's 2011 tribute concert to the late Ron Asheton at Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater will be released on DVD in April, with proceeds going to the Ron Asheton Foundation. 

* Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry will receive the prestigious ASCAP Founders Award at the publishing company's Pop Music Awards on April 17 in Los Angeles. 

* Alice Cooper's planned Ship of Fear Cruise over Halloween has been canceled due to slow sales. 

* Paul McCartney, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, ZZ Top, Talking Heads's David Byrne and Weird Al Yankovic are part of this year's Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival lineup. The fest runs June 13-16 in Manchester, Tenn. Tickets go on sale at noon Saturday (February 23). 

* Jeff Lynne has three releases planned for April 23 -- "Electric Light Orchestra Live" from a 2001 PBS special, and reissues of ELO's 2001 album "Zoom" and Lynne's first solo album, 1990's "Armchair Theatre." 

* Rush, Rod Stewart and Leonard Cohen are nominated for Juno Awards in Canada, which will be presented ??

* Elton John will play some in-store shows to help try to save Britain's HMV record store chain. 

* A new cookbook, "Recipe Records: A Culinary Tribute to the Beatles," has been published featuring recipes such as Strawberry Pie Forever, I Should've Known Butter, Stuff Sgt. Peppers and Lady Medallions. 


* Steve Winwood has announced a U.K. tour, starting June 17 in Cambridge. He'll be back in the U.S. this fall for Rod Stewart's rescheduled dates, including ?? at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
