* Eric Clapton's new album, "Old Sock," comes out March 12 with covers of songs by Ray Charles, George and Ira Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Lead Belly and others. 


* The Who has offered Bradley Wiggins, Britain's Olympic gold medal-winning cyclist, a free pass to any of its live shows.

* Crosby, Stills & Nash will play shows May 1 and 3 at the Rose Theatre in New York's LIncoln Center with Wynton Marsalis and his Lincoln Center Orchestra. 

* Elton John and his partner David Furnish have released the first photo of their newborn son, Elijah, to Hello magazine in Britain. 

* The Monkees' Mike Nesmith launches a 17-date solo tour on March 21 in Nashville, with an April 7 stop slated for the Detroit area. The venue is TBA.
