Jamie talks to Joe Kocur

Red Wing fans adore the greats like Steve Yzerman, Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay.
But they also have a very soft spot in their hearts for the enforcers. Go to the Joe on a hockey night, and you'll still see plenty of Probert #24 jerseys as well as Kocur #26's.
Joe Kocur still lives and works in southeastern Michigan. He's the President of the Red Wing Alumni. And he's very active in local charities.
This Saturday, Joe will host the third annual Joe Kocur Charity Softball Tournament in Highland. Plenty of Red Wing alumni will be out there along with Jeff Daniels. For more information on the event, head to his website.
I talked to Joey about the event this weekend and also about his hockey careeer including the fact that he MISSED the famous March 26th, 1997 game against the Avalanche. I figured he'd be crushed about missing that one, but looking back, he thinks it was a good thing.
Here's the interview...
