About Pazman

There’s no better authority on Classic Rock & the Blues than 94.7 WCSX. Every Sunday from 9-12 mid for over 20 Years. WCSX presents The Motor City Blues Project. The show is brought to you courtesy of Mark Pasman, professional musician and your Backstage Paz to the Blues!

Pasman is a guitarist, arranger and producer. Paz spent a decade recording and touring with Mudpuppy, which won multiple Detroit Music Awards, and played on stage with Robert Cray, Blues Traveller and Buddy Guy.

The very last decade, Paz Man fronted a series of All-Star Jams called SuperSessions featuring Detroit's finest including Mitch Ryder, Thornetta Davis and Johnny Bassett.  Paz Man's latest musical project is the Soul Party band Jeanne & the Dreams

As most of you know, over the past 20 years of hosting the Motor City Blues Project, the multiple Detroit Music Award winning Mudpuppy, and for the last decade, SuperSessions, a series of All-Star Jam sessions, with a different line up every night!

Over two decades of making radio, highlights include:  conversations with Jeff Beck, Willie Dixon, Bo Diddley, Koko Taylor and on-air jam sessions with Levon Helm of the Band, Paul Rogers, Double Trouble and Detroit's finest.

Whether rockin' out on stage or in the WCSX studio, the Paz continues to share his passion for American music....especially of the Motor City variety!

Your Backstage Paz to the Blues was recently honored by the International Blues Foundation in Memphis, awarding the 2011 Keeping the Blues Alive Award for Commercial Radio for 23 years of the Motor City Blues Project.  Thank YOU for listening....couldn't do it with out you !
