Jim O'Brien

-------------

Dear Jim,

Wow! The photo you sent of the 575 hp Roush Supercharged ’69 Mustang is stunning!

Congratulations to you and the entire WCSX crew behind the Stone Soup Project, as well as all the car enthusiasts, hobbyists, die hards and automotive suppliers who all came together to build this fabulous car from the shell up.

Pulling together for a great cause – in this instance, the Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Children’s Hospital – is one of the things that makes Detroit a great place to live, work and show our passion for cars. Good luck to all those who purchase raffle tickets in hopes of winning this latest creation from the Motor City!

And it doesn't happen without the amazing work of people all over Detroit -- check out this email from our project manager Doug Baenziger about the work being done right now at Roush Performance:

--------------

Hey Guys,

Joe Depodesta and the guys at Roush are doing way more than expected. They are personally making sure that the powertrain is the best and safest for the Mustang.

They are now going to help with the exhaust, again not their job.

They recommended frame ties to strengthen the body, not their job.. This is required due to the tremendous horsepower and torque this will produce not to twist the body on hard acceleration.

They fabricated the frame ties rather than forcing us to buy them. saved about 700.00.

They are taking what normally would be 2-3 months and doing in two weeks.

Doug

------------

We can't say enough about the passion and commitment to help these kids by building this '69 Mustang -- YOUR $10 raffle ticket tells them the work is worth it, and on behalf of everyone here at 'CSX -- THANK YOU!

------------------------

Jim and Ken,

Love the Mustang Boss 5.0, and your work to support Children’s Miracle Network at Beaumont Hospital!! Thank you to you and all your listeners for the great work you are doing to serve the community.

I know that whichever wheels your listeners choose will look fantastic!

WCSX & Ford Rock!!

Alan

-------------------------

THIS is why we brought back the Stone Soup Project -- almost $50,000 for the Children's Miracle Network with two months left to sell $10 raffle tickets. And YOU'RE making this possible! On behalf of everyone at 'CSX, thanks for the continued support...can't wait to see the smile on your face (and the kids) when we finish.

SOO....WHERE ARE WE?

We're within the two month window to get the Stone Soup Boss 5.0 done...not nervous, not nervous.
