The group faces a fine of up to $320,000 for blowing past the 10:30 p.m. noise curfew and playing another half hour -- even though the group reportedly cut at least one song, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," from the set list because of the time crunch. Some reports noted that Mick Jagger even audibly told the band to "get a move on" because of the impending curfew. Bernard Doherty, the group's British press agent, confirmed to The Sun that, "It means a big fine - but the guys just do their thing. There wasn't a janitor standing there, jangling his keys, saying, 'I want to go home.' " The Stones can certainly afford the fine, of course; the five shows -- one more Thursday (November 29) in London, then December 8 in Brooklyn and December 13 and 15 in Newark, New Jersey (the latter televised via pey per view) -- are expected to bring in $25 million in ticket sales alone.

Hamilton was diagnosed and treated with throat and tongue cancer in 2006, with the disease returning three years later. But now, with Aerosmith on the second leg of its Global Warming Tour promoting its new "Music From Another Dimension!" album, Hamilton has revealed that his doctors say he's free of cancer and "feeling really good." He tells BackstageAxxxess that, "The doctor who treated me in 2009 said, 'Listen, I can help you in a way that is going to preserve your way of life. But you're going to have to come in here a lot afterwards for a long time.' I said, 'Sign me up!' I go in there about every two to three months. I get looked at by having the doctor put a scope down my throat. It's a nerve-wracking process, but I don't have to worry about it for a couple of months and I'm feeling great." Aerosmith will be on the road until December 13 and plans to tour mare in 2013, though both Steven Tyler and Joe Perry have spoken about solo projects in the new year as well.

BEATLES DEMO TAPE UP FOR AUCTION

The Beatles first demo tape -- a 1962 session infamously rejected by Decca Records -- is going on the auction block. The seven-song, two-track mono recording will be up for bid Tuesday (November 27) at the Fame Bureau in London; auctioneer Ted Owen described the tape as "totally unique, and the sound quality is crystal clear" and estimated it will sell for up to $32,000. The tape, which was owned by a Hard Rock Cafe memorabilia buyer, hails from a New Year's Day 1962 session when Pete Best was still the Beatles' drummer; after hearing it, Decca's Dick Rowe declared that guitar-driven rock 'n' roll was "on the way out" and told the quartet it had "no future in show business." The Beatles subsequently signed with EMI and the rest, as they say, is history. The songs on the tape include: "Money (That's What I Want)," "Like Dreamers Do," "Take Good Care of My Baby," "Three Cool Cats," "Love of the Loved," "Memphis" and "Crying Waiting Hoping."

AC/DC, ELTON JOHN, BOB DYLAN AND MORE HEADED TO GRAMMY HALL OF FAME

Recordings by AC/DC, Elton John, Billy Joel, Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney & Wings are among this year's Grammy Hall of Fame inductees. Guitarist Joe Perry went on a syndicated radio show to say that "It must have been a slow news week" when the New York Post reported the five group members are "barely speaking to each other" and that Aerosmith's Global Warming tour is "in chaos." Perry said that, "We were wondering, 'Who's saying this?' and 'Why are they saying this?' It's totally wrong and irrelevant. The least they could have done was get (the facts) right." Perry added that the people who he expects were unnamed sources for the Post story "haven't had anything to do with the band in 10 or 12 years. The band is getting along better than ever." The show's organizers have acknowledged the Stones have been invited, but it's not certain if the group will be available. It performs December 8 atBarclaysCenterin Brooklyn and then December 13 and 15 performances at the Prudential Center in Newark,New Jersey; the Stones are apparently planning a dress rehearsal for the latter on either December 12 or 13 because the final show will be a pay-per-view broadcast. Stones guitarist Keith Richards did join frontman Mick Jagger on stage at the Concert For New York City in 2001, however, so there are hopes the group will participate in some way.
