Chicago has performed at least 53 concerts at DTE/Pine Knob, including a five-night stint during the venue’s inaugural 1972 season, making them one of just four acts who performed during the 1972 and 2012 seasons (along with Neil Diamond, Smokey Robinson and Beach Boys).

The Doobie Brothers are close behind with at least 50 concerts, beginning in 1974.

Unofficially, they are #1 and #2 in most performances at the venue.
