The Michigan Lupus Foundation will host its inaugural Go Wild for a Cure! - Detroit Zoo Walk to Cure Lupus on Sunday, August 10. This event is aimed toward raising lupus awareness while funding research for this devastating disease. The Walk will take place on a detailed route through the Detroit Zoo with refreshments, raffles and prizes available to all attendees.

The Detroit Zoo has teamed up with the Michigan Lupus Foundation in an effort to promote their mission of improving the lives of those living with lupus. The Walk will feature opportunities for attendees to explore many of the Zoo’s attractions, while also offering participants to engage in raffles and enjoy complementary refreshments during the day.
Detroit Zoo Walk to Cure Lupus attendees are encouraged to arrive between 7:30 am - 8:15 am to register to the Walk that begins at 8:30 am. A $20 registration fee covers entrance into the Zoo, all of the Foundation’s Walk activities as well as onsite parking.
Since 1974, the Michigan Lupus Foundation has been faithfully serving individuals and families affected by lupus.
